A female Chinese student shares her story since coming to Australia...

1. What did you believe before you came to Australia?
   I had no religion before I came to Australia.

2. What do you believe now?
   I believe Jesus. He is the king and sent by God. I believe Jesus died for us and saved us. He took over the punishment instead of us. He is the only way for us to be forgiven by God and peace with God.

3. Why did you change? (Tell us how you changed... what was involved?)
   I joined in a Bible study group and some Christian friends give me a lot of helps. The Cross Cultures Camp also taught me a lot. So I have known Jesus died for us in order to save us. He suffered from the hell and left the heaven to us. I'm very moved.

   In addition, as an international student, I met a lot of problems in my life and my study after I came to Australia. When I knew that Jesus loved me, cared for me and understood me, I didn't feel lonely and I didn't fear any more. I also get courage and confidence from Jesus.

   So I have taken too much from God and from Jesus. I need to thank God and thank Jesus and give back what I can out of thankfulness and love. So the first thing I should do is to believe in Jesus and follow him.

4. Who do you want to tell about your belief in Jesus?
   I want to tell all of my friends and my family. Actually, I have done that.

5. What do you think will be hard for you as a Christian in the future?
   I think God loves us and forgave our sin through Jesus' death. Jesus is my king in my heart. So how to serve Jesus well and how to keep the peace relationship with God is important for me in my real life and is also hard for me. So I need to improve and grow more and more in the future.
