"I cannot imagine if I didn't know about cross culture here (in Australia). That's because it's been the most precious and biggest part in my life of Melbourne for the last ten months. =)

When I first arrived in Australia, I didn't know anything about Australiaand to make matters worse, my poor English skill used to make me depressed a lot. At that time, Cross Cultures members encouraged me with their warm smile and God's precious talks so that I could overcome the very difficult time. I'd love to appreciate it from the bottom of my heart."

- Female Korean student

"At first, I think CC is very good and helpful club for international students. When I came here at first I didn't know anybody here, So finding out CC was very lucky to me. CC is kind of family for me now in Australia. Usually international students are difficult to interact with Australian, but we feel very comfortable in CC."

- Female Korean student

"I love CC because it's an environment where we are encouraged to consider God, to ask questions and (hopefully) to find some answers as we look through God's word. there have been many 'lightbulb moments' for myself and others as we've journeyed through Acts! i am particularly encouraged by stories of how people have come to know about cross cultures- usually it's because… anyone at all from cc took the time to say hi, to smile and to care for someone as a friend- this reminds me to put humility and love in action."

- Australian born Chinese student leader

"Well, to put it in a comment, i would say im enjoying coming to Cross- Culture because it is a place where i feel comfortable and enjoyable to be in."

- Vietnamese student

"Janey helps me a lot in Cross Cultures. At first we were in the same Bible study group, and that was the first time I got to know Christianity, she explained it clearly and made it quite interesting to me. She always be patient in explaining things to me. I really appreciate it. What's more, they organize lots of interesting events, which make our international students feel like home."
